†This kit is designed for more experienced cultivators. Using this grow kit involves the open-air transfers of colonized grain spawn to substrate bag. This must be done cleanly.  Failure to do so may end in contamination. No refunds or returns will be accepted due to contamination with this grow kit.

This grow kit is basically bulk tek in a bag - combining colonized grain spawn & prepared substrate to produce mushrooms. Except instead of growing in a mono-tub, tote, or plastic bin, cultivation occurs within the protection of a sealed filter-patch mycobag.

FIB tek helps prevent grow failures due to:

• Contamination - Perfect for apartments, closets, and areas with soft surfaces.
• Substrate Dehydration - Protected micro-enviroment maintains proper humidity and provides FAE (fresh air exchange).
• Pests - Sealed bag prevents access by fungus gnats, fruit flies, and other insects.

This kit makes two 4.5 lb fruiting bags which will produce between 1/2 Oz and 2 Oz of dried mushrooms (depending on strain, culture health, and growing conditions). Colonized grain is combined with substrate at a 1 : 1.5 ratio. Once 3 lb grain bag is colonized, half is added to each of the two 3 lb substrate bags. The bags are sealed and contents well-mixed. After 3-5 weeks bags will colonize and begin to fruit mushrooms.
